Our server Andrew and the rest of the staff were all friendly and attentive. The food was outstanding. And we were able to secure a table outside, allowing us a perfect view of a Ludington sunset.
The caprese salad I ordered was TERRIBLE. I counted 7 full cherry tomatoes (which were cut in half) and a massive hunk of cheese...for $17. The seasoning was gross as well. Save your money, there’s plenty of other great places to eat in ludington.
Great service, amazing, delicious food. Every time I dine there. Definitely recommend!!
Stumbled upon this amazing restaurant during a day road trip! Everything is homemade even down to the croutons in your salad. Dinner tasted amazing and the service was incredible. Definitely on our list to come back!
Great waiter "Andrew", very professional! Food exceptional, except sauce not very flavorful and runny. Charged for garlic bread when on menu stated free with dinners, so they seem a little stingy. Good experience overall!!
Good service..good food. Complied with COVID distancing. Very important to us. We felt safe.
Great pizza and good service within our COVID difficulties.
Expected better quality with the name "Luciano's". Didn't taste authentic Italian. Employees very nice and accommodating, restaurant atmosphere relaxed and comfortable.
Visited this place on Saturday. Was not busy at all. Sat outside due to having our dog with us. Waited for 15 minutes, no one ever came outside to take our order. My wife went in and was told by an employee(maybe the owner??) rather hatefully. I seen you sitting outside, if you want to order something you need to come in and do it because we are way to busy and there is no one to wait on you. There was maybe a total of 12-15 people sitting on the inside, not busy. The waitress that finally came outside was extremely nice, lady inside needed some manners. Will not be back if that's the way you conduct business.
Limited menu booked in January did not know about limited menu but turned out ok
What I've had of the menu has been good. Will definitely be back and look forward to it. Service has always met my expectations and they have an okay draft beer selection.
The reason it received 3 stars rather than more is simply because if the ridiculous length of time to get our food. It was about an hour and a half to get our entrees. No they weren’t that busy. The calamari appetizer was too salty and barely warm when the waitress brought it. The main meals were hot and delicious. The service was average. The waitress forgot to bring me the wine ordered (she admitted it). She was nice but seemed to be overwhelmed. The decor is outdated and cheap. Tables are covered in vinyl tablecloths. They place needs some updates and attention. It seems to have been neglected.
We saw this restuarant previouse night, so we decided it to go for lunch. Bad decision, the waiter her name was Gaga, (that what she told us) very serious, not friendly at all. We asked what's the special for today, she said: what you see in the menu. Like other Italian restaurants they offer bread with olive oil, or garlic bread, here no,If you would like you can buy it. We ordered salad, was fresh, nothing special, but the portion was like a side salad for the regular cost. All around very disappointed , and would never go back.
Best pizza I've ever eaten.
Our new favorite place for new years eve.
Had cheese bread, fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp, and the 9 ounce filet with spinach. All were excellent. Especially loved the cheese bread. Asked for my meat to be medium, came out well done. Took about an hour to get our food.
Could have tried harder to make me happy
Food was excellent but not enough staff for a holiday weekend. Saw customers turned away who wanted to eat outside or in another section. Two servers and two kids were running the place. They were friendly but kids were very young and did not know what to do, servers were overwhelmed.
Good pizza and pasta. Always stop in when in town.
Food is good. Atmosphere is dated. They did bring pasta instead of the pizza for one our meals... took forever to get it fixed and by the time the pizza arrived everyone else was done eating... and then we were offered no discount, which was disappointing.
This was a great experience!! The food was very authentic! I had Spaghetti and meatballs. Coming from a Italian upbringing home. It was just like going to my grandmas house. If you go make sure you ask for the Chestnut Soup.. yes nothing like I have ever tasted, Devine 👌. Friendly atmosphere and staff. I’ll be back!!
The Waitress was sweet. But we had trouble switching channels and finding programming. And the portions were very small. Good food. But a little small for the price. Average place with an average atmosphere.
For the total $57 you can buy yourself two small dishes lasagna that are not made correctly and are poorly made, most likely in a microwave that doesn't taste good at all, And they're tatse almost resemble a TV dinner but burnt, as well as a fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp where are the fettuccine is poorly cooked, the sauce thin as water, The supposed garlic bread was very very dry. The restaurant was very dark, old and unappealing, however the two dead plants in the window looked more peeling than the puny side salad that was served alongside of the course, The staff was truly uninformed about the size and or portion of the food, I would never recommend this place unless you're wanting to spend a lot of money for a unsatisfactory meal. For being a "authentic restaurant" they surely miss the bar.
This place had the most caring and friendlt staff I have ever seen. The food there was amazing. There is also a winery there.
We came to this place because of the nice little patio area that they have, we waited for a little while for a host to come up and greet us. We then asked if we could have a seat at the outside patio (Plenty of seats, a couple was already there, being served.) and the host was like, No, because we don't have any outdoors staff, just order take out and sit there and eat. But, the people who were there we're being served by a waiter! So overall, not sure about the food, but awful staff!
If you look closely you can see the hair on my DELICIOUS pizza I JUST purchased from Luciano's Ristoranti. I've been to this restaurant many, many times and it keeps get worse. I can say the people are nice and the drinks are good.
What a surprise to find an authentic Italian restaurant in Ludington! Our server was excellent as was our entire dining experience. The bruschetta was perfect and the Veal Marsala was delicious. We will be regulars for sure. Highly recommend Luciano's!
Run down. Pasta was good that's about it.
The food was delicious. Service was very good. They didn’t have linguine? The atmosphere was basic - needs an upgrade. Very good value for the money. We would come again.
Great pizza.
Best round pizza in Michigan (and I am a bigtime pizza lover from the Detroit area). Salads were great too.
Solid place for casual Italian dining in a small town. My family and I regularly camp at the state park. We have made a custom of going into town and having a "fancy" dinner here for one night of our stay. I would have given 5/5 stars; however, the last time I visited the food/service what somewhat lackluster. I'm thinking this was most likely a one-off as I have been coming here for years and never been disappointed.
We had shrimp alfredo. We did not care for theirs very much. The pizza looked amazing and the service was good. Not a bad place just our choice was not what we expected.
Good service. Good food. Reasonable price. Clean. Nice place to carry on a conversation. Not like so many noisey restaurants.
Best chicken parmigiana and cheese sticks I've ever had!
They take a bit of time to prepare your order but the food quality is excellent and it's clear that they actually prepare it fully rather then rely on prepared or pre packed ingredients. It's worth it! But do be aware of the time factor. Not a place to go for light speed food prep. It's more authentic!
Always warm, kind service and delectable food. You cannot go wrong with any food choice. My favs are linguini pesto and lasagna.with Chianti, of course!
I got a delivery to my hotel. The food was absolutely fantastic!I had calamari for an app, and the bolognese for my entree, and they were both wonderful. The squid was very lightly breaded and perfectly cooked, and the bolognese was a delight.I've been in the industry for a long time, and I honestly would never expect delivery Italian food to be this good.
Excellent pasta. Well formed and cooked perfectly. Pizza was good overall but the crust seemed to be lacking a good finish but that's really just nitpicking. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area.
Family owned authentic Italian food that's very well done. Lasagna bolognese was excellent and fried calamari was perfectly cooked with a nice light batter.
Best lasagna in Ludington.
We had a delicious meal catered for us. The pizza is some of the best I've had. They definitely use fresh ingredients the whole way through. The spaghetti was tasty, as were the fried mushrooms. We are planning our next trip already!
We had just gotten off the S.S. Badger ferry and were looking for a great meal. We found this wonderful Italian restaurant and were very pleased with the service, but it was the food that was so awesome. The lasagna was delicious as was the fettuccine alfredo with shrimp. The salads were nice and the garlic bread was great and garlicky. Yummy.
We just had a pep. pizza and spaghetti. Beyond words, both were so good and the price wasn't bad at all. Definitely coming back when we're in the area again
Very good food, waitress was very attentive. The wait for the food was a little long but we were told about that before we were seated. Definitely will go back.
Hands down the best pizza my sister, and picky niece of 7 years old have ever had!
Pictured is one of the best cheesy bread sticks I have ever had! Super fresh ingredients and daily made marinera sauce. Also had the pizza which of course was amazing. The owners have been running the restaurant for many years and have family photos on the walls, making it feel homey. There is outside seating along the sidewalk on Main Street. Great find that won't disappoint you.
Wonderful Italian restaurant! Everything I had was top notch including the Tiramisu. I will definitely be back!
Great food, good beer. Will be coming a lot more when I want a steak or anything Italian oriented. 5 stars for sure
My one and only favorite stop when I visit Ludington and in my top 5 in the state of Michigan. (I travel a lot. ) The service is great and the food, well...let's just say the flavors are awesome they dance in your mouth making you want more! Included with my meal are a few pics of the Lighthouse I took...some with my camera and the rest with a drone, I hope you enjoy!
